It is possible to open liquidity accounts, securities deposits, or portfolio management accounts registered in the name of a trust company like ours.
This choice may be motivated by the need for personal or commercial confidentiality or the wish to obtain assurance that the sums deposited and/or invested are used following certain instructions or to pursue specific objectives. This assurance is provided by the fact that the trust company acts as a professional independent third party in the interest of the trustor and/or beneficiaries or third parties.
The trust company is only the formal holder of the sums and/or securities, while the trustor remains the beneficial owner.
The trust company administers rather than manages the sums and/or securities registered in its name, strictly following the written instructions provided by the trustor.
